Below are a selection of our mouth watering courses.

We would like to list them all for you,

So just to tempt you, here is a selection to get your taste

buds flowing.

Starters: £4.25 - £5.75

                                                      Duck and Cranberry paté

Fresh duck livers and whole Cranberry's go into this smooth paté, served with warm toast and red onion marmalade

fresh Scallops

Grilled with creamy mashed potato, and topped with English cheddar, served in it's shell with fresh salad leaves

king Prawns

Fresh King Prawns combined with a lemon, garlic and mayonnaise dressing. served with a salad garnish

Soup of the day

Prepared daily from fresh seasonal produce. Served with crusty bread

Goats Cheese

A slice of Ciabatta topped with grilled goats cheese and sun dried tomatoes, served with dressed salad

Garlic mushrooms

Cup mushrooms sautéed in garlic, parsley, butter & cream.
Served on a bed of Tagliatelle

 

Main course: £9.75 - £16.65

 We use nothing but the finest, properly hung scotch sirloin steak
 in the following weights.

A modest 8oz

A moderate 12oz

The above are accompanied by a crispy salad garnish,
mushroom, tomato and your choice of sauté/jacket potato or chips.

You also have the choice of the following homemade sauces

Red wine and shallot
Creamy mushroom

Poached Salmon

Lightly poached on a bed of spinach with a white wine sauce, topped with crayfish, and served with new potatoes

Pork Cutlet

Prime pork cutlet, grilled till tender served with chunky apple sauce, sauté potatoes and crackling  

Ratatouille Pancake

Courgettes, onions, tomatoes, Aubergine and peppers wrapped in a tortilla, topped with melted cheese

Lambs Liver

Bacon, black pudding & lambs liver served with creamed potatoes and
onion gravy

Chicken Piri Piri

Plump fresh chicken supreme, chargrilled with a piri  piri sauce on a bed of sautéed onions

Lamb Shank

Shank of lamb braised with root vegetables in a red wine stock.  Served with mashed potato and ratatouille

Spinach Bread and Butter Bake

Fresh Spinach, Ciabatta bread, Onions, Mushrooms, Cheese, Cumin seeds and eggs baked in the oven until golden brown and served with fresh salad leaves


 
Coq au Vin

A plump chicken breast oven baked in a rich red wine, bacon, shallot & button mushroom sauce. 

Asian Style Duck

Slow roast duck cooked with ginger, garlic and Chilli. served with stir-fried vegetables

The Angel's Bread & Butter Pudding

Homemade recipe with whiskey & butterscotch custard

Crème Brulee

A classic dessert made with egg yolks, cream, sugar & Baileys.
Served with brandy snaps

Cheeseboard

A selection of cheeses served with grapes, apple, celery & biscuits

Truffle cake

A rich dark chocolate truffle cake served with fresh cream

Angel Apple pie

Chunky Engish apples soaked in Strongbow cider, and baked in sweet pastry make up this delightful desert, which is served with creamy custard

Chocolate Mousse

This blend of white and dark chocolate mousse, flavoured with rum is served with a light Raspberry Coulis

Citrus Tart

Shortcake pastry case with a lemon, egg and almond filling, gently baked and served with vanilla ice cream

Mövenpick "Ice cream of quality"  (all natural ice cream range available)

Beverages and Liqueur coffees
